It is now easy to communicate with a Smart Metering system, a dispatch center (IEC60870), a substation (IEC61850), a wind farm (IEC61400), a solar panel power plant and with any automation components with the support of the well know fieldbuses from the market (Profinet, EtherNet/IP, Powerlink, MODBUS).

The programming interface, compliant with the IEC61131-3 standard, makes straton the most effective software for the implementation of a smart grid  application.Straton can be integrated into any platform from small IEDs up to Industrial PCs that support Linux, QNX, VxWorks or Windows.
